Volvo XC90: Media player / Video
The media player can play videos from USBconnected devices.
Video is not available when the vehicle is moving; only audio will be played.
Video will resume when the vehicle is stationary.
Information on compatible media formats is provided in a separate section.
Playing video
The USB app in App view is used to play videos.
- Connecting media source (USB device).
- Open the USB app from App view.
- Tap the title you would like to play.
If the USB device also contains music and audio tracks, it may be difficult to
locate the video files. To find them, go to Library and select the video tab.
Playing DivX®
The DivX Certified® device must be registered to play purchased DivX video-on-demand
(VOD) movies.
- Tap Settings in the Top view.
- Tap Video
DivX® VOD
to get a registration code.
- Go to vod.divx.com for more information and to complete the registration
process.
Video settings
You can change some language settings for video playback.
Audio Language and Subtitle Language can be adjusted with the video
player in full-screen mode or by opening Top view and tapping Settings

The vehicle's media player is equipped with Bluetooth and can play audio files
from Bluetooth-enabled external devices such as cellular phones and tablets...
Other information:
When the vehicle is connected to the Internet, it is possible to uninstall
apps.
If the app is being used, it must be closed before it can be uninstalled.
Open the Download Center app in App view.
Select Application updates to open a list of all installed apps...
A digital version of the Owner's Manual is available in the vehicle's center
display 2. The digital Owner's Manual
can be accessed from Top view and in certain cases, the contextual Owner's Manual
can also be accessed from Top view.
