Volvo XC90: Lighting / Adjusting light functions via the center display
A number of light functions can be adjusted and activated via the center display.
These include active high beams, home safe lighting and approach lighting.
- Tap Settings in the center display's Top view.
- Tap My Car
Lights and Lighting.
- Select Exterior Lights or Interior Lighting and then select
the function that you would like to adjust.

The driver support functions Adaptive Cruise Control* and Pilot Assist* have
a special brake function in slow traffic and while stationary. In certain situations,
the parking brake will be applied to keep the vehicle at a standstill.

The brake pedal is used to apply the vehicle's regular brakes, which are part
of the brake system.
The vehicle is equipped with two brake circuits. If one brake circuit is damaged,
the brake pedal may go down further when depressed. More pressure will then be required
from the driver for normal braking effect.
The driver's pressure on the brake pedal is enhanced by a power braking function.
