Volvo XC90: Media player / Text message settings
Settings for handling text messages received through a connected phone can be
personalized.
- Tap Settings in the Top view.
- Tap Communication

Messages and select settings:
- Notification in center display - display text message notifications
in the center display's status bar.
- Notification in driver display - displays notifications in the
driver's display and incoming messages can be managed using the steering
wheel's righthand keypad.
- Text message tone - select tone for incoming text messages.

A Bluetooth-connected cellular phone's text messages can be handled in the
vehicle...
When a phone is connected with Bluetooth to the vehicle, contacts can be managed
directly in the center display.
Up to 3,000 contacts can be displayed from the phone selected in the center display...
Other information:
In certain demanding driving conditions, Lane Keeping Aid (LKA1)
may not be able to properly assist the driver. In these situations, it is recommended
that the function be deactivated.
Examples of such situations include:
road work
winter driving conditions
poor road surfaces
a very sporty driving style
bad weather with reduced visibility
roads with indistinct or no lane markings
sharp e..
Returning to Home view from another view
Briefly press the home button below the center display.
The most recent Home view mode will be displayed.
Press briefly again.
All of the Home view's tiles will return to standard mode.
NOTE
In Home view's standard mode – short press on the Home button. An animation
describing access to the various views is shown on the screen.
